On the Horizon

While we still don’t know at what point we’ll be able to gather again, once we can, we’ll let you know when our next Talk on the Wild Side will be.

Trapper Natter

We’ve been in touch with our good friends and sponsors at Altitude Brewing and we’re all very keen to have a Trappernatter and a good catch up, too. Hopefully in the next month we’ll be able to spend some time together again. As soon as we know more, we’ll let you know!

If you haven’t been to our website recently, do go have a visit as thanks to our wonderful Trustee Daniel Sweeney of Total Brand we’ve had a full revamp and the website is looking great.

You’ll also notice that our online shop is open, too. If your hair has gotten a bit shaggy and it’s still going to be a while before you can get it sheared, you might be keen on our WWT caps. And if you’ve been living in the same t-shirt for all of lockdown, might be time for a pleasant change. We’re hoping to have hoodies in the not too distant future, too, so we’ll get everyone ready for winter as soon as we can.

During the lockdown, Predator Free 2050 produced a whole series of fantastic webinars related to trapping. If you didn’t get a chance to see them, they’re archived here and well worth a visit: https://predatorfreenz.org/resources/2020-lockdown-webinars/

We know it’s been a long few months but we just wanted to say a huge thanks to those of you who’ve kept all of our spirits up, have been reporting in unexpected bird sightings, and who’ve appreciated the cumulative work of all of our groups in bringing back our native wildlife. We’re looking forward to seeing you all in the coming months and thanks for all of the wonderful work that you’re doing.
